Description
An IP-addressable module designed for smart meters in utility AMI/SMI deployments. Inserting the module directly into the smart meter creates a flexible, meter-agnositic communications infrastructure. Uses a 200 Mbps chipset to communicate over low-voltage electrical lines with gateways and other meter modules. Each module extends network coverage by acting as an automatic repeater, allowing scalable plug-and-play installation. Gateways and meters automatically form self-healing mesh networks that can be managed.
