Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
Description
Used to configure a switch without user intervention. Built to fully leverage the power of Arista’s Extensible Operating System (EOS), it provides a flexible solution that provisions the network infrastructure without requiring a network engineer present at install.
The ZTP process runs by default at boot and can auto-provision the switch configuration and software image via well-understood standard protocols. Advanced scripting capabilities allow further automation and customization of the newly installed switch with absolutely no user intervention.
