Andromeda network virtualization stack
A software-defined networking (SDN) substrate being leveraged to support Google’s network virtualization efforts. It is the orchestration point for provisioning, configuring and managing virtual networks and in-network packet processing. The goal of Andromeda is to expose the raw performance of the network and NFV in an effort to allow for scaling. That allows for access control lists, distributed denial of service protection, firewalls and transparent service load balancing.
