Description
AG6248C PoE OS has 48 10/100/1000BaseT copper ports, plus two combo SFP ports and two SFP+ ports. Each copper port supports auto-sensing and auto negotiation. To further simplify network setups, all ports also automatically sense half- or full-duplex connections for high-speed server or switch-to-switch configurations. It provides power and data from a single point using Power over Ethernet (PoE) over a single Cat-5 cable. All of these 48 10/100/1000Base-T ports can supply industry-standard IEEE 802.3at power over Ethernet. An advanced auto-sensing algorithm gives power only to 802.3at-compliant end devices, preventing the damaging of proprietary PoE or non-PoE equipment.
